Mahama fixed dumsor – Yvonne Nelson defends John Mahama

Award-winning actress and producer Yvonne Nelson has defended the presidential candidate of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama on the issue that he did not fixed ‘dumsor’ in 2016 before Ghanaians kicked him out of office.

A few weeks ago, there has been heated argument on which government fixed the power crisis that crippled Ghana’s economy. The ruling government New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by President Akufo-Addo claim to have fixed the problem but the opposition NDC insisted that they found solution to power outages before they left power.

Well, Ms Yvonne Nelson who led a popular demonstration called ‘Dumsor Must Stop’ in 2016 against erratic power supply has said that former president of Ghana, John Mahama solved the power crisis issue before he was kicked out of power.

Making this known in a tweet she said “I understand you are dumb…. let someone clever explain to you my dumsor campaign was for Ghanaians to get their lights back on, which President Mahama fixed and nothing else”.
