Famous Nigerian artiste, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has denied reports suggesting he denied taking part in the EndSARS protest.

Davido said in the statement, “I want to make it clear that I never went there to deny protesting. My comment was taken out of context.”
“I was trying to explain that I was not at the protest to cause trouble or fight as you can hear me say in the video, but rather I was in solidarity with every Nigerian demanding an end the police brutality,” he added.
Davido met with the police chief today 12th October 2020 in attempt to end the police brutality which has caused a nation wide demonstration.
Davido also indicated he’s Nigerian first before anything else. “I am Nigerian before FIRST, David Adeleke [Davido] second,” he said.
